July 2011 Bulletin

Dear Community, If there is any single event that is a must-attend, that will be GhanaFest 2011. This summer, we are having it on Saturday, July 30th as always at Brewer Park. It is going to be fun and we ask you all to be there. We invite you to come and enjoy some Ghanaian food and art and take part in sporting activities such as soccer, volley all and other Ghanaian games. Tell your friends, neighbours, and colleagues about the event and encourage them to attend. It also would be appreciated if you could come along with games like Oware, Draft (or checkers), Ludo, etc. For more information, read the post below.
On Saturday, July 30th, from 12 noon to 8 pm, the Ghanaian Association will be organizing GhanaFest 2011 in Brewer Park (by Bronson Avenue opposite Carleton University). This will be a day of Sports, Games, Food, Art, Activities, and, of course, fun. There will be a display of cultural activities, African art and wares. Please mark the date on your calendar and come out to Brewer Park to enjoy the day with friends!
